The Hidden Noise Ensemble takes its name from one of Marcel Duchamp's readymades, "With Hidden Noise." A hidden object inside of the piece suggests that it be shaken to discover what is inside.
We dream that someday this duo will be the kernel for large ensemble works, but we make so much sound with our drums, guitars and electronics that we have yet to go down that path.
